Welcome to the Gossner Film Fest!

Global Celebration of Independent Cinema

We invite you to celebrate the vibrant world of independent film at the Gossner Film Fest.

We are dedicated to providing a platform for filmmakers to share their unique visions with a global audience.

Experience a curated program of inspiring, entertaining, and thought-provoking films from around the world.

The festival is open to all – students, professionals, and studios.

All films will be introduced by a Festival Director.

We are committed to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all attendees. Please adhere to our Code of Conduct, which emphasizes respect for all individuals and prohibits discrimination and harassment.

Entry Fees & Forms:

Pay applicable entry fees according to the categories listed below.
Complete the submission form accurately with all required information and materials.

Submission Criteria

Originality: Submit original work that respects copyright laws. Plagiarism is not permitted.
Completion: Submit a finished film with high-quality sound and picture.
Deadlines: Adhere to submission deadlines. Late submissions may incur additional fees.
Premiere Status: Films previously released on public platforms (except cinema halls, TV channels, and private screenings) are eligible.
Language: Films may be in any language. Non-Hindi & English films must have English subtitles.
Rights: You must have all necessary rights to the film’s content.
Formats: Digital submissions only (Min 1920×1080 FHD). Provide a high-quality digital copy and any requested materials (trailer, brochure, photos, synopsis).

Judging Criteria

Our esteemed jury will evaluate films based on:

Originality & Creativity: Unique concepts and fresh perspectives
Technical & Artistic Execution: High-quality visuals, sound, and editing
Storytelling: Engaging narratives and emotional impact
Relevance: Timely and meaningful subject matter

Best Film in each category
1st & 2nd Place awards in each category
Cash prizes, certificates, and awards

Rules & Regulations for GCF

Submission Guidelines:
Submit through our online form or FilmFreeway.
You can submit multiple films, each with a separate form and fee.
Once submitted, films cannot be withdrawn.
If selected, provide a high-quality digital copy and any requested materials.
Scenes containing violence, animal cruelty, sexual content, and abusive language should be blurred or muted.

Screening & Exhibition:
Screening dates and times will be determined by the festival.
Films will be screened in their original language with English subtitles (if needed).
The festival will provide technical support for screenings.
Screening schedules may be subject to change.

Code of Conduct:
All filmmakers and attendees must adhere to our Code of Conduct, which emphasizes respect for all individuals and prohibits discrimination and harassment. Violations may result in disqualification and removal from the festival premises.
